I have $250 to spend on a video card.. What should I get?

I was thinking of that Radeon 8500 from Newegg, the oem white box for under $200 and buying the adapter for VGA.. my friends are telling me to get a Geforce3, and I can't find a Ti500 for under $250.. which is the one I want if I were to get a Geforce3. I wanted the 8500DV.. but that costs quite a bit more.. I have a Geforce2 GTS right now, and the games I play it runs already at above 100FPS on max settings.. Maybe I should forget trying to get a newer video card? I dunno.. Anyone wanna help?

I think you are pretty satisfied with your GTS right now...
however if you have money to burn get the radeon 8500 (le or OEM) version and overclock it with a voltage mod...

that will like 100 prices difference for with par performance with the ti500

with the geforce 4's and the net ati's do out in march it might be best to just wait, at the very least the prices for the cards you are looking at now will drop, and maybe the new cards which might have some directx 9 features would be better buys in the long term anyway..
