I have 2 computers in a lan. How do I tell which one is the problem computer?

I can see both computers on the network in win 98 using a switch and ethernet cards, and can view all the shared files and drives. Computer 1 can download from computer 2 at normal speed. Computer 2 cannot download from computer 1 and freezes up when trying. I am new to this and don't know if 1 is not giving to 2 or if 1 is willing but 2 is unable to recieve or visa-versa.

Chances are it's either a driver issue or a irq problem on computer 2.
