sounds like the salesman suckered you in with a nice pitch. windows nt, 2k, xp, 2003, and linux can run multiple os's as well (its called vmware), however i dont think theres a program out that emulates a mac architecture (but why would you want to do this?). and no, i dont think youll be able to play your games on the virtual os. your virtual machine will use a virtual graphics card so whatever radeon or whatever graphics card you have in your mac doesnt apply to your virtual machine, or at least thats how vmware works.

Macs rarely crash.. but it FREEZES like no other.

My school has several G4's running and it's soooooooo slooooooooooow.

Occasionally freezes when I'm multitasking as well..

That's a good point. There is no real BSOD equivalent for macs, but the problem is that shiat is constantly freezing up either indefinitely or for absurdly long periods of time. my 1ghz g4 doesn't like doing anything but photoshop. It rips slow as shiat as well.
Macs do have a BSOD equiv, it's called the Kernel Panic. For most Unixes, this results in a memory dump being put out on the screen, but in the case of the Mac, what you'll get is a a large image(covers almost the whole screen) that tells you that the machine has encountered an error, and that you need to reboot... in several different languages. It's a bit different, but at least it isn't blue.😉

PS josphII, it's hard to impossible to emulate a Mac; it has far more GP registers than a PC(32 vs. 8, I believe), which means you need a lot of tricks to make up for the lack of registers
