I hate youtube. POLL

he probably doesn't like it because everyone else likes it. he's one of "those" people who are just "anti-anything that's popular" it sounds like. he probably isn't very popular himself.

you see, when titandiddly was young, he would idle away his days laying beneath the tree by the stream, fishing for whatever morsel would take his bait. Meanwhile his sister would wash the laundry with the other local girls at the town's only well, at the center-square of the village

All this would change one day, when YouTube rode in from the western horizon, early one afternoon. It was a day like any other, titandiddly was fishing when he first heard the comotion of a thousand hooves descending on his village, about 8 furlongs to the west. He regarded it with only light interest at first, until the light summers breeze carried the sounds of women's screams...he thought of his sister down at the well and alighted quickly to foot, forgetting his fishing pole.
 
No, I hate it because it's got retarded proprietary player software, takes a long time to load, and isn't accessible from many places. I don't see what's wrong with people hosting videos on their own domain.

Titan stopped short of the town center...aghast from several hundred yards at the site of several of the local huts set ablaze, as YouTube's legions ransacked his small town for all it was worth..his respit from his spring from the streamside was only temprorary however...he thought of his sister and rushed headlong towards the village...arriving in the midst he began to choke on the acrid smoke rising from the burning thatch. Hearing the scream of his sister he wheeled around, only to see his sister being dragged into one of hte last remaining unscathed hut by one of YouTube's minions, a lecherous grin on his face, as his companions laughed. He began to run towards the hut to save his sister's maidenhead, only to be knocked down by one of the soldiers, and mocked. He would never see his sister again.

He then broke into a spring for his family's thatched cottage out on the outskirts of the township, but as he crested Olde Man's hill, he knew it was too late....he saw smoke rising from the ruins of the family farm, his father lay in front, sword in hand....but disembowled, and a short knife sticking from his eye, the hilt bearing the symbol of YouTube.....his mothers body lay over the fathers, her throat cut; her beige smock stained crimson red with the liquid that once gave her life.

And that my friends, is why TitanDiddly hates YouTube. It killed his parents, deflowered and murdered his sister, and burned his village to the ground.

1) The software isn't proprietary, it's just a flash app (duuuuh).
2) Seems fast enough for me. (Try this, it's the #1 featured video on the site right now, so you know it's getting hit like crazy--it loads lickety split).
3) Perhaps you shouldn't be looking at videos at those places if it's being blocked.

In summary, you're an idiot.
