I had to get up for work at 4:30 AM on a Saturday. If anyone smiles at me I could turn into a serial killer.

That's not really morning. That's like...pre-morning. And an hour that no person should be waking up at. Morning doesn't start until 5:00.

I used to get to work for 5:30am for overtime and get up at 3:30 so I had time for the exercise bike before going in. Seeing the check on Thursday made it a little easier

every sunday i get up at 5:00 am to catch the bus at 6. (first bus). if i don't, the traffic jams make it much worse so it's worth it. i sleep on the bus anyway.

never once missed my stop...

I'm with the OP. If it weren't for all you busybody morning people who are just delighted to wake up at the crack of dawn going all "oh gee golly what a beeeyoootiful day for scurrying about and being productive" I'd be able to sleep in. But since you asses are willing to get up, the world expects us afternoon people to get up too. Fuck you morning people!

I listen to the traffic reports when I'm at work at 6 am. Nothing like hearing about jammed up traffic and accidents when you're already at work to make you feel better.

wish days were 36 hours long, so i could sleep a lot longer, and just general time remaining as well. I have to work the entire month and get only 3 days off per month.

The worst thing is, its my own company & does make good money, but I hate the work hours and cant ever make an excuse to skip work.

Job I started about 8 months ago runs a compressed schedule, eight 9's and an 8. We do the 8 hour day one Friday, get the following Friday off. Start work at 6AM, get 45 minute lunch, get off at 3:45PM.

That first month or so was a killer for me. Pretty much an ambulatory zombie-esque person until the end of January. Now I'm so used to getting up at 4:30AM for work, that "sleeping in" on the weekends means staying in bed until 5:30!!

What's funny is that my cat got used to the schedule too, so every morning he's waking me up right around the time the clock radio starts playing music, and every night at 9, he's nagging me to get ready for bed. Not exactly the type of nagging pussy I wanted in life!!

Coming from you that's a compliment sweet cheeks.

When's the last time you posted something useful OR funny? I don't know, I really don't. Have you ever done either of those things?

Unlikely.
