I called on the 13th of this month to cancel my service. This was for the invoice cycle Nov 15 to Dec 14. The CSR guy assured me it'll be shut down after midnight of the 14. I then find out I'm still getting calls from that account. I called them back this morning and the CSR is able to verify that I called and cancelled on the 13th but wasn't able to tell me why it wasn't closed. So now I'm getting billed for the next cycle in which I won't be needing that phone cause I've already signed up with Verizon. She tells me she can't do anything because we're already in the cycle and to call back when I get the last bill and they will reimburse me. How fvckin convenient of them.

Dont pay them is what I would do.

Man, when I first started my cingular service they sent me a defective phone, then sent me a defective replacement. Then, to replace the replacement, they sent me my original phone back (same little scratch on it). After arguing to 4 people, being on hold for literally a total of 5-1/2 hours over the course of a week, and endless other crap they finally gave me a free upgrade to a razr.

Cingular customer service sucks ass, but once you are all set it's fine. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with, hands down.
