I hate when teachers say "this project will give you the opportunity to..."

Why don't they cut the bullsh|t and just tell us what we're supposed to do. They know damn well that no one would "take the opportunity" if they were given a choice. I hate when they use the word opportunity to try to make their assignment sound more positive. A lot of teachers do this too, especially in college. Who the heck told them to do this?

They say it because its true. If you don't want the opportunity, then get the hell out of college. Its that simple.

they have to. It's part of their mandatory lesson plans they have to make and all that. Trust me, they dont want to use those bull$hit terms anymore than you do, but their boss makes them do it. and BTW, i am a future educator so i know how it is

Exactly. Get in to real world and you will know how much sometimes your hands on experience during college (when theoretical concepts are still fresh) are important.

ATOT will give you the opportunity to leave for a week and come back when you have something better to rant about.

If you do a good job on those projects, you can put them on your resume if you don't have work experience. That's what I did.

Just because I attend college doesn't mean I have to enjoy the crap they require us to take.
