I have a 2 year old, and she tends to wake up at night. I am a night owl, and after she, the wife, and our new baby boy are all asleep, I get some quality computer time in.
When my daughter wakes up, I usually hear her whimpering a bit when she comes into the computer room to find me. She's not really awake, and crawls up on me and goes back to sleep. I love that.
She's crashed in my lap right now.
What I hate is, lately she has been simply walking up to me without a sound. The house is dark, nothing on in here but my monitor, and with 2 computers/fans etc, running, I can't hear her coming, but usually she'll bump into something and alert me.
She just came in a second ago, and I didn't notice until she grabbed my arm. Scared the crap out of me.
Anyone else have kids that do stuff like this?
Edit: here she is, out like a light in my lap:
Daddy's girl
Daddy's girl 2
