I'm trying to encode the star trek enterprise premeire to DIVX (I recorded this off TV, please dont bug me about it being illegal, it's not). I've got 2 big AVI's (about 1GB each) that I recorded it to. They work FINE. however, whenever I record to DIVX, the audio doesn't synch correctly, and the farther into the video it gets, the farther out of synch the audio gets. After 15 mintues or so, it's off by probably a full second. Any ideas????

what frame rate are you encoding in?

most likely the soruce and destination framerates are different so you're getting errors..

IE source is NTSC 29.97 fps and you choose 30fps or something...

to encode in divx i really wouldn't use premiere becuase it doesn't expose all the functionality of divx (unless you're using divx 4 instead of divx 3.11)
