I hate this feeling...

Just got out to Houston after a 16.5 hour drive and am sitting on the couch in my parent house. I feel like I am still moving. Here I am sitting on the couch feeling like I am doing 90+mph through the living room.🙁

LOL, I know the feeling. It can be fun for a while but it gets old if you can't get rid of it.

Only 90?? Geez...minendo. Should have only taken you about 12-13 hrs.

😉

Seriously, that's some mad driving as I know you were a good 3 hrs north of me.

90mph+ was travelled to make up for the sections of highway where we were doing 30mph or less due to construction.

I got here 4.5 yrs ago, and it's been 4.5 yrs since I've felt like I was going anywhere at all. God, I can't wait to leave here!

Psst. Take me with you when you go.

Where do you live that is 16 hours from Houston? Where in Houston do your parents live?
Drove from West Lafayette, IN (Purdue University). My parents actually live south of Houston in Taylor Lake Village.

I guess a lot of that driving was in Texas where EVERYONE only drives in the left lane.

The left lane is solid cars, the right lane is only populated by a few cars, but they move really slow, so nobody will get in the right lane for fear of getting behind a slow moving car and losing about 50 spaces in the line of cars in the left lane.

Odd system.

I noticed that. I was in both lanes and I don't care if passing on the right is illegal. If you are going slower than me, get in the right lane.

why would passing on the right be illegal?
Maybe it isn't.😕

I've always been told that it is.

Over here in the UK...passing on the left or "undertaking" I think is one of those semi-illegal road things....sometimes it's difficult if you have some dumbass in the fast lane who refuses to move out the way.

16.5 hours of driving!...don't think that is possible over here....even driving from lands end to john o'groats...lol...

On the plus side of things, you might be able to get featured in an MTV commercial.
