Those bastards. They tell customers "Oh, tech support will walk you through the whole process." Then we get calls like this:

Customer: I uh need you to walk me through installing USWEST as my ISP.
Me: What have you done so far?
Customer: Nothing.
Me on mute: OMFG... :(

Hey Viper, the customer's always right, even if they do have the intelligence of a 3 year old. ;)

This guy's actually reasonably decent. Plus he's running the easiest setup possible:

  • Laptop W/Windows 2000 Professional
  • Cisco 675 Router

Dead simple. Never done any hardware installation in Win2K before. It's incredibly easy. Slide in the NIC, 10 secs later he's got a little icon in his systray telling him his LAN cable is unplugged.

Sweet!

No the customer is not always right. Even though they may think so, have you noticed that employees are getting less and less friendly toward the customer every year. you the customer are ruining it for all
involved. Noone wants to read anything want it handed to them on a silver platter and pay next to cost for goods or below cost or rip the company off either through coupon abuse or refund abuse and in the long one you will have noone to blame but yourself the CUSTOMER.

Now why can't i stack those 3 coupons or where is my free computer or where is my 256megs of ram for $19.99
