gad damit im tired of this, since 1/19/2004 i have received a whopping 642 spam email messages according to outlook 2003, thankfully it just deposits them in the junk folder, but im getting tired of this, if tried unsubscribing to them and that worked for like a week and they came back, now the un-sub links don?t even work.

Here?s a pick of the junk box

http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/TheEvil1/spam.jpg

is there anything i can do to make this stop? like bounce them back or something?

i emailed my school about implementing a server side spam blocker and they said "the are looking into it" which mean it will happen when hell freezes over, said they trying to find one that won?t block legit mail, they all wont do that if they configure them right

and i know im not the only one getting these, half my profs get them als and they hate it as well,

stupid school
stupid spam

Why do you need to use your college email account? Why not get your own domain and set up personalized email?

I don't think e-mail spam is half as bad as cell phone text message spam. Now THAT pisses me off.

Yes, you could send it to a address with SPAM filtering so that all the mail that gets through to the other address has no spam in the end (or very little spam)

You do realize that getting those is probably your own fault, right? When you dialed *### to enter a contest or whatever thats when they got your number and started spamming your phone.

No, it's not. I have a sprint phone, and sprint made it so that when you email a letter to #########@sprintpcs.com (i think that's it), it sends a text message to the recepients phone. All a spammer has to do is make a large email changing the numbers and POOF, text message spam.

I get ~250+ per day from Yahoo alone. I wake up and there's at least 150 for me... and more throughout the day. I wish they would sharpen up like Hotmail has (even for free).

Mailwasher is great at marking them so I don't have to though.
