I hate rebates. They blow.

Feburary - I resentfully pick up a very good deal on a motherboard at tigerdirect.com

March- Get item, send in rebate.

May- OMGWTFREBATE
I call, and I am told I will have my rebate within 2 weeks, maybe 4.

Today- I call, they tell me 4 weeks. I ask to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor tells me 4 weeks.

Tomorrow- BBB

im too impatient. i cant do mir's. even though ive had good experiences with them and get a fairly quick turn around, i hate the whole process of cutting stuff out, photocopying, mailing it in, waiting, then going to bank (thats just about the worst step, thank gawd for direct deposit).

Nah, going to the bank used to be worst part for me. Now, I just go downstairs and deposit it into my credit union account😎

Yeah, that's why I bought it resentfully, it was just too good of a deal to pass up. A $5 motherboard for my ub@rsmall system, with onboard VIA chip. (I wasn't exactly looking for power, just size)

my credit union is only down the street, but its the worst. kids running around, people who dont fill out deposit slips even though there are numerous signs posted to have them ready, and the single transaction line always has someone trying to do 3-4 things at once, yet they cant turn them away. ugh.
