I hate programs that takes over all your file assocations

I installed your program so I can simply watch dvds on my computer. I don't want it to play my videos. I don't want it to play my music. I JUST want it to play dvds when I want to watch one.

I'm guessing you hurried through the initial setup portion where normally they allow you to tell it what file extensions you want that program to be associated with? I know I do lol.

powerDVD does this...without any options to prevent it. Nero did the same until recently.

When I got my Samsung DVD burner last fall, it came with Nero...and yep, I was in a hurry during the install, and let it take over all the different file extentions it wanted to...what a PITA to get corrected...

Nero actually does this even if you deselect everything, I hate there viewing program too so it is frustrating to set everything back to media player classic or vlc.

Yea I remember when Nero was just for burning CD's. Now it's got like 500 other things with it that take over everything.
