I hate power supplies

My aspire power supply is starting to die on me. Whenever I'm in a game or the PC is working double time the computer will usually turn off within 15 mins. I then need to turn the power supply off then turn it back on to get the system to boot.
So, I' ve decided I'm not go cheap anymore. From reading various threads on this board I'm leaning toward buying a seasonic. The price is reasonable and the quality according to people here is very good. Should I consider any other PSUs or should I go ahead and buy this Seasonic PSU

Nope, stick with the Seasonic.
About the best PSU you can get in terms of reliability, stability and quietness (besides a PCP&C)

PC P&C > *

I wish they had a modular version of the 510 SLI, though. Man I love that PS.

Seasonic is the bext for quietness and coolness, but you can get a cheaper Fortron/Sparkle and get the same, if not better performance, albeit with lower efficiency.

Or, forget all this overly expensive crap and just get a cheap and reliable Forton, Seasonic, Enermax or Antec, which will do everything you require.

I swear to god some of you people would recommend a Ferrari to your grandmothers.

E-wiz has the Seasonic 500 for $110 delivered. I got in on this deal and love my 500. Very quiet and volt lines are rock solid steady. Great product. Also have and like PCP&Cooling Silencer 470.

Yeah it's all good and true and all, but he is in search for the holy grail Ferrari, not a Toyota Camry. :p

That said, PCP&C rocks, but I'd go with a Fortron, Sparkle, or Seasonic, or something of the like for your system. I have an OCZ Modstream and I know it's not the best power supply out there, but it's plenty good enough for anything, it works perfectly.. so as long as you are not using Aspire anymore, you should be ok.
