my brother barged into my room yelling at me that "i was doing something" to make his net suck ass. i know cox cable has a problem, and i've been on the phone with them several times about this crap. they keep giving me the runaround. there's no other cable providers in this area (nice monopoly they got, eh?) anyway, i tell him it's the isp's fault, and he says "I dont beleive you".
i go back to computing, and then all of my contacts exit. i look at the individual window dialogues, and i failed to connect to all the servers. turns out my brother unplugged me.
but here's the stupid part.
when he unplugged me, he unplugged the central switch, and yelled at me for being on the router instead of the switch. my computer is attached to the switch, his is attached to the router. that's why his continued working and mine failed.
anyway, i yell at him, and he re-attaches the cable.. instead of reattaching it to the router, he re-attaches it to the switch.
so now the switch is attached to itself. and i'm plugged into the switch.
i unplug the switch, and attach it to the router, like it should be. i unplug him from the router, and plug his connection into the switch.
and he comes to yell at me for fvcking with his internet connection.
*sigh*
