Ummm.....you can call a SUV a truck if you want to. We don't live in a communist country where you dictate what we say last time I checked.

Aren't the ones that are based on truck frames classified as trucks by the government?

What do you call a truck with no bed? What do you call an F-350 with no bed and a custom attachment on the frame?

If an SUV is based on a truck frame, I use truck/SUV interchangeably

Why not go one step further.

Truck = 8' bed

Anything with a smaller bed is a basterdized version so that people could fit their commuter in the garage.

People who call SUVs trucks are people who drive trucks but cannot afford a decent SUV, so they're jealous.

The reverse logic would dictate that those who drive SUVs do so in order to flaunt their wealth/credit line over those who choose to drive a more reasonably priced automobile.

You could say that. But I could reverse that and say people who drive trucks do so to flaunt some sort of fake "manliness." I do find that most people who drive trucks have far too much testosterone. Yes a lot of people actually need trucks for their job and things, but most really don't. They do it to be "manly." I'd rather have wealth than testosterone.

Heh same with Jeeps.
Jeeps are made to go for some off roading, but most people do the exact opposite.
A daily driver gas guzzler.

how about THat H2? I dont really like Trucks.

No,a CRV is a modified Accord chassis, so it is classified as a car. The H2 is a GM pickup truck frame and is considered a truck.

I like the Ford Explorer truck

Then I guess you like the Ford Ranger pickup truck, too. Same chassis.

Wow I'm going to go get in my truck and go to the supermarket.

Yeah,go ahead and delude yourself a bit further and remember you are driving a modified Camry!!!

You must not know a lot about vehicles... According to your dumbass definition, a semi tractor isn't a truck, a ghetto pick up without a bed isn't a truck, etc.

There are plenty of vehicles with beds that aren't trucks... Ridgeline, Baja, El Camino..
