I hate not having tools!

I don't know where everything has gone over the years, but all my tools have gone missing! I can't afford to go buy new stuff right now and I've got an old GE air conditioner that I'm itching to fix! (It's from 1979 and still works well, it just needs to be cleaned)
 
I'd loan you a screwdriver, but I seem to have misplaced mine just now as well. Can't you just hose it out? I assume you mean the outside heat exchanger is clogged up with dust/seeds/etc gunk - just set it on some blocks so the exchanger is facing down (so the water doesn't go into the rest) and give it a good rinse.
