I hate my IT job

I hate my job. Manager over a SysAdmin group at a large IT company. This used to be fun. I love my guys as I was a sysadmin with them before becoming manager. I wish I could find a similar job at a mid-sized company..

Sometime I wish I had/will gotten laid off to force me to go find something fun to do..

If you're willing to get laid off for it, why not ask to get demoted to sysadmin again?
