I hate my isp.......argh!

I hate my stupid ISP. I've got a cable modem through COX (yes, funny name) Communications. At first, things were great. Half the time it just doesn't work. When it does, it's slower then frozen molasses. Tonight seems to be the worst night I've ever had with it. I click on a link and it says it can't open the page. Five minutes later, it'll work. I can't believe how frustrating it is. At least when I had dialup, I could hang up and try again. Now all I can do is unplug it and plug it back in. And to top it all off, my digital cable is all screwed up. I paid for ALL of the channels. About a week later, half of them go away. I'm gonna call them and give them a piece of my mind. Rant over. :|

I'm sure alot of you have suffered some of the same problems. DSL is looking better and better.

Yeah my service (cable) gets screwey sometimes, but most of the time it's fine.

 

I'm going to live in the dorms forever. Me love me T3 lines.

I have heard bad things about Cox. I would get dsl if it is available.

I was looking into DSL, but I'm not sure about sharing bandwith or whether or not I can get multiple ISPs. Next time I get a flyer, I'm going to inquire.
