u kno all you're doing is asking for pity, wheter you realize it or not

Maybe you think that he's asking for pity because you have not gone through what he did?? I did not exactly go through what he did but I'm not pitying him. His post goes out to all of those guys that are complaining that their parents never pay the CC bills and never bought them a BMW for their Bday.

who are "all those"? you people make it sound like there is a significant number... it's 1,2, 3 at most.

it doesnt matter what i went through. the past is the past, and i choose not to identify myself with it because ultimately all it does is create fear and harm

edit: i never said i was pitying him i said its what he's doing, cousciously or subconsiouslyy.

You said that you came here when you were 3-4 years old, and that you have 4 little brothers. That means that, AFTER your parents ran into hardship, they KEPT HAVING SEX! What on earth is wrong with them? It's their fault that there were so many hungry mouths to feed. I have absolutely ZERO pity for third world countires where people keep cranking out babies and then whine to the rest of the world that they are poor and starving. The same complete lack of empathy extends to those people in America who do the same--have too many children and expect others to give a damn or *gasp* even pay for them (yeah, I know it's pretty ridiculous that there are people out there who believe they have some entitlement to handouts for their large poor families, but it's a sad world). I'm not saying that you expected handouts, and I must say that I had no childhood like that, but in all reality, your situation could have been partially avoided.

I'm not saying my family had a great life but they had a normal, average everyday life. We were poor and starving AFTER the fact that the damn communist government STOLE all our money and land. I can't help it if they keep cranking out babies. This is the old country, they didn't have condoms in every drug store, let alone if there were any.

I don't want you to have pity on me, as a matter of fact, I pity you for having no pity. Such a ruthless and stone cold heart you have for others who did not have it good like you did. I'm sorry, but I give out to charity and to the childrens' fund. Not because I pity them, but because I've been through there and I hate to have them going through it without help. When I went back to my old country, I gave my old neighbors a good and healthy amount of money, to keep their land clean and for them to keep doing what their doing, trying to survive.

I also did not say I wanted a handout. If you read my story above correctly, we WORKED to get where we are today. Guess what? My parents still work 11-12 hour days to this day. Why? I have no idea, maybe they can't get used to the fact that they can relax. I can't help them, I told them to retire already, but they won't. We live in a house that we own. We have 3 other house we rent out to others. We drive nice cars, we part own the property in a well established shopping mall and receive a nice check every month from it ($10,000+). And we just opened a Japanese Restaurant in Ocean City, MD, which is a nice vacation spot during the summer.

Does it look like we are begging for a handout?
