So I actually go and buy WINXP. Install it and everything is working great, I sign into MSN messenger, and accidentally had remember password firld clicked. Now the stupid thing remembers my password and I DO NOT want it to. I tried to uninstall, reinstall it does not matter. I went so far as to remove the folder, and it still remembers my password... I changed my, net password and now it screws up everytime i open it, or use it to check my email because it remembers my old password and gives an error. It looks like I am going to have to reinstall Windows to secure MSN messenger. So if you do not want to go completely insane do not tell it to remember your password.

Go to Control Panel -> User Settings. I am not 100% sure but there should be a setting to make it forget your .NET password.

BTW, did you search KB about this?

Ummm, how exactly is he going to use GAIM in Windows XP again?

The End.

Well the short answer to that is that he could use a real operating system, but I would need a flame suit for that comment.

Heh, I agree. I would much rather use RH8 over WinXP, but alas, Win2k is perfect...RH8 a close second, and ever-approaching.
