I don't like it either, very unconventional interface and slooooooooooowww - 'course it's running on a 950 celeron w/192MB and Win2k, so that could be a factor too.

Heh, you think that's slow. I've got a P2-333 w/ 384 ram running XP Pro.

That's possable? I have XP installed on a 500 K6/2 with 128 ram and it runs slower than water uphill.

I hate Microsoft Outlook. Same difference.

No, not the same. For me, Outlook works and makes sense. I use at home and love it. It integrated right into my Palm, sorts the mail, filters out crap and the interface makes sense. Maybe in a work environment it sucks but the way I use it its great.

i have used lotus notes for about 6 years now and the company i work for just switched over to outlook. outlook blows chunks.

notes is sooo much better. for one the notes server were 486's and they could handle like 200 clients per server. also fixing a client side notes issue was real easy 99% of the time you just get a default notes.ini file and maybe a new names.nsf / desktop.dsk and that has fixed all client issues i have ever ran into. yea the gui has some small quirks ( no scroll bars / wheel mouse ) but with everything else i think it is alot better
