I hate logic puzzles, is there something wrong with me? Now with POLL.

I've always hated logic puzzles and "riddles" with trick answers - like the one about the bear who walks 1 mile south, 1 mile east, 1 mile north and he's back at the starting place so what color is the bear? [white, because he was at the north pole so he's a polar bear].

Back in my school days I used to memorize these so I wouldn't appear stupid. I am BTW very good in math & science, and I used to be a really good programmer (haven't worked in the field in a while).

I like other kinds of puzzles and challenges, but I just can't stand those "logic" and "trick" ones. Is there something wrong with me?

I'm good at math, science, and programming, and score very high on all of the things that would make a good logic puzzle solver. But I hate them too. All they do is annoy me and there are many more enjoyable, productive things I could do with my time. I don't see why people would assume that aptitude ALWAYS implies enjoyment.

There are lots of other puzzle types, not just logic puzzles. I'm very good at, say, math puzzles, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, mazes, go/chess/tangrams etc, just not logic puzzles.
