I Hate Loaning Money To Friends

I have a bunch of friends without jobs and whenever we go out they ask to borrow a couple of bucks so they can buy something to eat or whatever, but when it comes time to pay me back they disappear and hope I'll forget about it. We went to Magic Mountain on Tuesday and my friend wasn't sure if he had enough money in his bank to charge it to his debit card so he asked me to pay for his ticket and he would pay me back on Thursday. I've been calling him up but he won't answer his phone I left him a text message to call me back but he doesn't. I really need the money right now because I had to cancel my debit card because someone stole my card number, I have no way of getting money from the bank until Monday.
 
I hate loaning anything to anyone now. I used to let people next door to me at the dorms borrow my movies, and I got half of them back.

There's hardly any common courtesy anymore. You shouldn't even ask for the money back, they should just give it to you straight up.
 
Stop loaning them money. If they don't have money at the time, that's one thing. Pulling this "disappear and hope you'll forget about it" crap is another thing entirely. You're just being taken advantage of. If they don't pay you back, you don't loan them any more money. Simple as that.
