Grizzly bears are more like bipolar bears.

Grizzly mostly refers to a (Ursus arctos horribilis) of North America.

There are tons of Brown Bears that aren't Grizzly Bears.

The Black Grizzly (Ursus arctos lasiotus) is not really a Grizzly. Kind of a slang name. Although related.
