I hate football

Does that make me weird? I just cant get into watching sports. I love playing them, but I just for the life of me sit down and watch them. Any other guys here not like sports?

i didn't like watching them till i had roommates that watched. I still couldn't get into baseball, though.

Should change "guys" to "ladies" and you might find more support. When you filed your application for manhood there was a checkbox for what sport you liked to watch football, basketball, baseball or hockey. Being deceitful on any part of the application would require your card to be revoked.

Sure, I didn't watch sports much when I was seven years old. But now... I watch pretty much every NFL and NCAA game I can find on the tube.

i watched about 10 minutes of drag racing last night with my 8 yr old daughter

Not a football, basketball or hockey fan but I don't hate them at all. I grew up on baseball and boxing but thats the case for many families from puerto rico though basketball is pretty big there now.

Hardly, I was all state wrestler. Ran cross country, track, played baseball, rode motocross and liked to fish and blow stuff up.

I just cant get into 400lb steroid enhanced grunts slamming into each other and people dribbling about stats all the damn time.

I also cant stand people saying "i would have done x" or "omg how did he miss that"

If you can do better then join the NFL until then shut up.

Oh, BTW I think actually DOING the sports is more manly than sitting on your ass watching them and commenting on what you would have done different

Can't stand watching them either. I'm not a big fan of playing them either, especially in like organized teams, like little league or HS football. If a few friends want to get together and play, I'm ok with that.

I couldn't care less about any sports or the overpaid criminals that play them.

All penn state football, steelers football, and most penguins hockey.


Aside from that, I will also watch any good college football matchups (i.e. any game between ranked teams), most Sunday night and Monday night NFL games, and as much playoff hockey as I can.

Other than that, I hate basketball, baseball, and most other sports.

I'l give you credit for baseball but the man on man action of wrestling is not my thing.

And you can't stand people who have opinions? Hmmm you must be a pretty angry person around here then eh? And by your same reasoning if I don't play in the NFL Im not entitled to an opinion of a particular play or call? And your a member of anandtech? C'mon you know that is crazy.

Of course playing the sport is more fun but finding that many guys to play with and not getting sued b/c you knocked someone to next week is pretty hard nowadays.

Yea, I have a short attention span. So I pretty much only can watch 4th quarter basketball or UFC. Football/baseball/hockey are pretty hard to get into. Meh, Discovery/Animal Planet/History Channel/Futurama for me.
