I'm getting so sick of the word portfolio. I hate the way the word looks, I hate the way it sounds. I hate that everyone has a portfolio and I hate that 90% of them suck. I never really thought about the word before, but now it hurts my ears and bothers my eyes.
I'm also getting sick of the word design, it's ****** everywhere. Everyone's a designer, everyone also has their own design firm. It bothers me that the word sounds like dezine but for some reason there's a 'g' in it.
I'm not clicking on anyone's portfolio unless I have reason to believe there's more there than a clever .gif and their customized gradient. I don't want to see things people made in their intro to design class or things a 14 year old made before church with his haxzord copy of photochop.
I'd also like to add that I'm so ****** impressed with the way you painted over a picture with Corel Draw. How did you ever think of that?
