There is little to no action, and all they do is think to themselves and it shows random images. Like mind control or something. It's retarded.

 
if you can get past that...it's fairly cool....the ending kinda sucks....cuz it has alot of that....but the "meat" of it is very interesting *****this is not a spoiler as nothing about the storyline is revealed
 
EVA is one of the things in life thats guarenteed to make you wana kill yourself.
you will either have absolutly no understanding of whats going on, why its happening, what it is the charectors are making references to and won't be able to stand watching it.

or

you will get it, you will understand everything thats going on, you will understand the visual imagry, you will understand everything that going on. you will feel Hideaki Anno's mental breakdown replaying itself in your own head, and you will find it to be an utter and complete mindfvck that you fall in love with even if it does give you the urge to end your own existance.
 
Never gonna watch it. I read about how Rahxephon is very much like Evangelion and stuff and stuff, and Rahxephon sucks. According to the reviews and highest praises of Evangelion I would hate it as well, too pretentious. I'll stick to Berserk.

Eva was the first series I ever watched, but watching other stuff it really isn't all that great.

The first show I watched was Inuyasha (original Japanese, not English dub, although I can't imagine it being any worse). Everything seemed like a masterpiece in comparison.

I wanted to shoot myself after watching it.... I felt like b1tch slapping every last one of the characters every time they opened their mouths. Worst series I've seen so far.
 
I'm impartial. It's good, but even if you watch "The End of Evangelion" which is supposed to explain things more... you don't get it in the end.

I'm just mad that Shinji is pretty much a little bitch until the end.
 
I've been trying to like this show, but I'm just not getting into it. Some crazy anime about this pussy of a boy who fights aliens in a big robot when he's not in school or brushing his teeth. It always bothered me how passive everyone acts about the destruction of Earth in regards to the boy facing a constant moral dillema about piloting a freakin' robot to kick alien ass.

hell, where can you get anime where there's fighting ALL THE TIME??? and the fights were CREATIVE! big, huge, epic, insanely powerful, large scale 1v1, or 2, or 5 battles.

it was great! toriyama was very creative on how to show off power, lol.

Rahxephon is nothing like Eva(although Kamina's "Shinji" moment at the end was quite retarded) there are no other simularities.

BTW don't watch the Rahxephon movie. A complete waste.
 
I like Trigun. It makes sense, and Vash is funnymost of the time and serious sometimes. Also, I like it because it's like the cowboy days in a futuristic setting. That's also the reason I like Cowboy Bebop. But I like Trigun the best. 😀

Anyone got the series on DVD?
