everytime i run a search on prospective electronics i want to buy, or sell, i always see someone slip their stupid 'secrets' for getting free stuff auction in there. you know, the one that promises to send you literature or media revealing HOW to get free stuff. and these sellers always have fluffed up feedback, too, from exchanging theseitems. it seems like there is a big ring or network of scammers and they exchange these fluff items with each other for feedback.

i guess it kinda infringes on rights on ebay..but who would object to shutting down these scammers...ive seen less ridiculous stuff being shut down by ebay?

anwyays, i guess what bugs me the most is that there are actually people out there who fall for these auctions, and thusly keeping it alive....rant.

Do you want to learn what it really takes to make money on ebay? I have good news for you. I want to share with you the information we - Power Sellers know on how to make real money on eBay.

This is from one of the links you posted above. Funny, this POWER SELLER only has 42 feedbacks. Some power seller huh!

the worst part is when they advertise it as the specific item, and don't have a 0.99cent buy it now. I've seen people bidding on this "info" thinking theyre getting the real product and putting down a lot more money. Even though they should be reading the whole auction, it's sad to see someone with 0 feedback who is using ebay for the first time and probably their last after they get cheated.

Just think about it. If you knew how to get a hold of latest and greatest in electronics for next to nothing would you really sell that info so others can get in on it? I don't think so.

Basically what the 'information' consists of is:

Write a letter to ferrari with the foloowing:

"Greetings! I'd like to purchase a couple hundred of your $750,000 ferrari Enzos, but first I was wondering if you could send me one or two samples before that purchase."

That'd be funny if you made an auction for information on how to scam people on ebay.... Original idea?!

As a seller could not restrict the sell of a cake recipe, for example, neither can a seller restrict the sale of information which can be, could be, or should be common knowledge. The information contained within this document falls within those guidelines

THIS PROGRAM IS NOT TO BE RESOLD; YOU DO NOT HAVE RESALE RIGHTS. (DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK)

Statements kinda contradict each other...(this was pulled from the doc amnesiac posted)
