Guy sitting next to me is a douche who's playing music on his laptop speakers, during class.

So he goes out for the coffee break, leaves his laptop playing music and blocked, so I pressed and held the power button for 5 seconds :twisted:

He comes back, turns his laptop back on, and curses at it because he lost the work he was doing in a VM, I feel great

edit: looks like he also lost functionality of his function keys, lol.

How is he supposed to ask when the guy isnt even in the room? The other guy started the douche-off by not being considerate of others. Some people go to class to learn, not to listen to music. I am one of those people that still think cell phones and laptops should be banned from the classroom

I use a laptop in class to take notes, and I think that if someone is playing with his phone or browsing facebook but making no noise, it's his business. He doesn't disturb anyone, and this kind of people usually sits in the last rows so it's not like they clutter the place.
But doing that is extremely rude.
I wonder: why hasn't the lecturer kicked him out?
