No wonder managers and higher ups know nothing about technical stuff... they were COM majors in college... (like myself) 😉
I hate Comm majors. (Sorry Paige.) The courses are an absolute joke. At least English majors learn somehting. Thankfully in Finance I should be tucked nicely away from Comm majors which will help prevent me from accidentally killing one.

If I killed a Comm major, the only way it would be described as accidental is in the police report (hopefully)

and wth is six sigma?
It comes from statistics, it basically says that all output within six standard deviations of the mean (i.e. the ideal) for a given performance value must be within the acceptable range. Basically something like 99.9% of your output is supposed to function within the design parameters. Theoretically it's a way of reducing defective units of output, in actuality it sets a standard that is too high to be achieveable.

Thanks. They never taught us that in statistics in college 12 years ago. But then again, we were using clunky green text only terminals as computers too. Times have changed.
