LOL- no doubt. It will likely make $340-$350 this year if Samsung/someone else ever figures out how to make that RAM, but those few people who got them on honored pricing errors are the only ones who get cheap GTs this year.
 
Ok, could this theoretically work?

I buy the 6800GT right now for $400.

Right before prices drop to, say, $300 for the GT when a new generation card comes out, I sell my GT for around, say, $375 perhaps. When prices drop to $300, I <i>rebuy</i> a 6800GT for $300, thus getting the same card that I've always have for effectively $325. It would be like I never actually paid $400 for the card in the first place.

Feel free to ram me up the @ss on this one.
