yeah it's the whole prefab plastic look I see with a lot with American homes, here in Denmark 99.9999999% of all homes are solid brick houses.

Bricks do offer some drawbacks that wood fixes not to mention is much cheaper and easier to maintain and expand on.

Some brick can look nice but then again others are ugly.

Plus the skill for using each is a lot different and generally it's easier using wood then using brick.

Also it varies where you live as we have a lot of different weather compared to suck a small area as denmark.

ahh.. the ones that look like they were built on an assembly line... probably because they were
Nope, mine is a stick house built from scratch.

The third car garage does give it a strange look, but it looks better in person than in the picture. Or if I put up a pic from the other side like:

BTW house is 2800 sq ft 3 bedroom 3 bath with a 18x22 upstairs game room and I planted 8 trees so far and will plant 4 more next year.

So in 5-10 years I will have a nice treed lot.

I like brick, until I have to do something like install an electrical outlet. D:

Or when I put a 4" hole for a vent, now THAT was fun. Then again, if I had the proper drill and proper 4" hole bit, it would not have been so bad.

I live in a neighborhood full of barking dogs. One to the house to the left, 2 in a pen on the right, 1 across the alleyway, 1 on the corner, and at least 3 across the street. I have to turn on 3 high power fans just to sleep.:/

This is one of those dogs that barks when it is left alone in the day time.

So luckily I never hear it at night, and only once every couple of days since her owner is a fire fighter and is home a lot.

I can't stand it when some stupid yappy dog on the other side of the street starts barking! :|

I thought about getting a dog, but I prefer smaller animals, and I've noticed that smaller dogs tend to be "yappier".

two doors down hes got a bunch of yap yap dogs and a very loud beagle.

hes got the entire yard chained up, and when wifey comes home in the afternoon, shes too lazy to get out her damn self and open the gate, so she whales on the car's horn for worthless husband to come outside and open the gate.

every time she comes home you can hear the entire 'pound' of yap yap dogs, including the beagle, expressing their affection.
