I've never known an Eagle Scout (I've known many and three well enough to have discussed this with) who weren't in some way disgusted with the organization.

Beauracracies are made of people and there are many people who just plain suck ass, even in Scouting. There's an awful lot of good in that organization though.

I wouldn't sweat it, take your lumps and get through it, perhaps you'll be in a position to make a difference some day.

well, im still drafting, im trying hard not to make it sound like im a wuss.

im gonna make the apology, but im not gonna put my tail between my legs, like they'd have me do.

however, this experience does change one thing: i make eagle, im outta that screwed up troop faster than a speeding bullet!

if the person does not deserve the apology, why give it? Seems kinda pointless. I never did.

circumstances make it so that if i dont give the apology, i dont get eagle rank in Boy Scouts...
