I had to go walk through the clearance section at Target

Went to Target during lunch to run an errand and also check out Target's ad about XBLA game cards being 'buy one get one free'. The XBLA game cards ended up being a bust as the only ones they had available were Worms and Mortal Kombat and some other crappy game that I can't remember. Worms would have been worth the purchase but they didn't have anything else to complement it. There may have been some other XBLA game cards before I got there though if anyone wants to check their local Target.

I also walked past the clearance section and found Blue Dragon for $14.98. YMMV obviously since this was the last one they had. I know reviews were mixed but $14.98 seems like a good enough price to give it a try.

Now to find a time machine to find the time to play games.

Go cruise the Target video game clearance section anytime you go to that store. Seriously, they have the best prices and usually have a decent stock of clearance items for all the different consoles. They also had Tony Hawk's Project 8 and I've seen other decent games there but nothing I was motivated to pick up until now.

It's too bad I have absolutely no desire to play Blue Dragon because that's a great price. I did not enjoy the demo at all.

Did you happen to see any PS3 titles on clearance?

I saw Wii, DS, PSP, PS2 and 360. I can not recall seeing any PS3 games. This is dependent on your local Target though so you're better off taking a look at your local store.

Blue Dragon for $15 is a really great deal! While not as epic and profound as Lost Odyssey, it's still a great little (big in size as it's 3 disks) JRPG that delivers some fun times.

Just a heads up--it does start a little slow.

I might have to swing buy and check to see if my local target has one in stock. Thanks for the heads up!

Nothing new in my Target. 🙁

🙁 Like I said, YMMV.

I hope I didn't get a bunch of people's hopes up only to disappoint!

Last week I paid $24 for blue dragon at target, I thought that was a good deal. I was just there yesterday to get the arcade cards, they only had Texas power stack-em (?!?), MK3, and worms. I picked up worms and MK3.

That was the other one at my Target - Texas Hold'Em....which I already have from when it was free on XBLA.

I guess it is the same three games at every store.

No hopes here. Target is about a 2 min walk from work and I was picking up some chips. I usually head through that section anyway.

Ugh I hate not having Target 🙁 I really wish that Rogers would put their deals on soon, they have great deals sometimes.
