I had some rar files, and they decoded to *.bin files.

Is there a way to combine them?
How the heck do you play a *.bin file?

Yep, use Nero or Alcohol 120% to burn them to disk. Or use daemon tools or I think Alcohol also has a virtual drive that you can use to mount the .bin images.

is there a .cue file?

You could use Daemon-tools to mount it as a Cd drive...

Video Help

Look about halfway down the page; you will find a help guide showing how to extract an MPG file from a BIN file. Once you have the MPG, there are tons of tools on the same site that will merge them.

.rar usually unzips to several .bin files, extract them all to the same folder, then open any .bin file with winrar and you should see a .bin and .cue, extract those to a new folder and use nero to burn the .cue file

Nero

Choose recorder, burn image then select the .cue file

don't do any of them.... VLC (VideoLan) will play the bin files without extracting them! VLC is my new favorite movie player. And it doesn't require any codecs@!

use nero and point it to the correlating .cue file (make sure the .cue file - open in notepad - doesn't have an errant path pointing to the bin). Each cue gives Nero instructions on how to burn the .bin.

Alternatively you can use ISOBUSTER to extract the .bin.

EDIT>> LOL everyone jumped on this one - 13 responses in 8 minutes... that's gotta be some kinda record.

EDIT2>> bmacd's idea is a good one, too bad I don't want yet another player installed...

VideoLAN is nice for streaming media to other systems on your network aswell as just being a decent player.

Overburn doesn't work with that much overburn, IIRC. If you've got a DVD burner, use Premier to make one big movie out of the three clips and burn the result to DVD.

If you want to burn them all to a DVD, I'd use Isobuster to extract the mpeg files from each image, and then burn them to DVD.

Typically the BINs will be larger than the capacity of a CDR (~700MB), but it'll burn fine (probably).

To burn the video to a DVD I think you'd have to copy the MPEGs from each disc and combine them with something like VirtualDub. Might be an easier way though.

You could also put each on an extra-capacity CD-R, like this 850 MB kind. (Tom's Hardware link, sorry!)

But all one DVD would be ideal, I'm sure someone will give some advice on the best ways to combine them.

burn the .cue and your 811MB file should fit onto a 700MB CDR.
