Did the guy give any opportunity to help him at all or did he just almost immediately flip out? If he didn't it's really his own fault. Bah, it's his fault either way. No one has to abuse people.

I know from working at CompUSA (<-- soon to start at a real job) that some people just lash out immediately as nastily as they can and expect to actually get help or sympathy -- without giving anyone a chance to help them.
