I had mead for the first time last night

That stuff is great, tastes alot like honey. I could not drink too much though cause it was really sweet. Its not something you want to get drunk off of, but have a few drinks and your doin fine :thumbsup:

Mead is fermented honey, basically. the process takes forever, as honey takes a long time to ferment. It was drank by nights in the middle ages as a way of getting drunk affordably, since it was against their code to drink beer and ales.

Yeah, mead isn't too bad once in a while. The only times I've had it was at rennaissance festivals or similar restaurants. If you're into sweet drinks and are lookin' for a quick buzz, mead will get the gob done.
