I was mentioning to my brother in law when I was in Kaohsiung, Taiwan visiting relatives about a restaurant that served food in small toilet bowls or a commode there. I was told that it was about a six -eight minute walk to get there from his apartment.

We later took our daughter's and niece's over there for shaved ice and ice cream. The place seemed very busy serving hot pot and other stuff.

The toilet seat covers were hard but the restaurant served a lot of food. What a gimmick!

niceee.. I actually seen a picture of that place while back here on ATOT. I'll be there in Feb hopefully and Sinapore for vacation. Can't wait!

I would expect this out of the Japanese, but the Tawain(people) Hmm, maybe ****** isn't really Japanese. Maybe it's a ploy by teh Chinese to make the Japanese seem worse than they really are. hmmmmm...

i went to a place called "ice monster", but i was soooo stuffed with food already, couldn't make room that night. maybe next year.

LOL...that's awesome. I'll have to ask my sister if she's heard of the place...and have my cousin go there 😛

Are they functioning toilets? That would be pure heaven for a 400 lb man on buffet night...

I thought they didn't use those kind of toilets. Are they mocking us?

japan is where you'll find a hole in the ground... i'm serious, at the airport public restroom, certain stalls have them for people who're used to that kind of "facility"
