Connected problems? I thought a PSU issue, but the rails look good, and I have an Antec Neopower 480 watt, so that shouldn't be a problem...

Are you the guy with the eVGA? Underclock it with Coolbits to around 400/1000. If the problems go away, the card should be RMA'ed.

Also, you can use ATITool's artifact checker and speed sliders to see if underclocking helps. It works fine with the Nvidia 7800GT.

Interesting.... I can't use the ATI tool sliders to underclock, and I can't bring up the Nvidia control panel for my video card.... Hmmm. I'm going to try reinstalling it YET AGAIN.

Try Driver Cleaner Pro to clean out the old crud out of your system before reinstalling drivers.

On the positive, if you do have an eVGA card, their RMA service is top notch.

Err, why would you try and use ATI tool sliders with an Nvidia video card??

Hypothetically it works.

Ok, I've done the driver cleaner bit, and now it runs artifact free at 456/1.1. I'm gonna RMA it for one that runs at factory OC speeds when I get some more time on my hands.
