So saturday night around 7pm i went to pickup a pizze pie for me and my family. So sometime on the way there i started to seize, now i dont remember the rest but this is what my father told me. I slammed into a median (thank god all i did was scratch my rims) and somebody called the cops, the cops came and called an ambulence and they couldent get me conscious they took me to the er, the er admitted me and i woke up sunday around 4pm freaking out not knowing where the fuck i was. As soon as i collected my thoughts i spent 30 mins arguing with nurse to let me have a cigarette. The guard walks me out in the wheelchair and lets me have a smoke. After a couple more hours at the hospital they do some more test and release me.
The cops said my clutch was burnt and they wouldn't let my parents drive it home. I go to the impound lot today and they wont $250 to release it so after arguing for an hour i paid the money and called triple a, sure enough as soon as triple a gets there i start my car and check it out, the clutch is fine and i drove it home. overall it was a crazy experience and i dont even remember it.

If you are having seizures you should not be driving AT ALL. In my state your license would be suspended until a medical doctor certifies that your seizures are under control and you are medically fit to drive.

The next time you could just as easily kill a family as bend your rims. You should be thanking your lucky stars rather than having hissy fits over cigarettes.

I can't tell when people are taking something serious or not. You can't really put THC in a needle and shoot it up...he was being facetious. First, smoking pot doesn't impare your driving ability. Second, he never said he was smoking pot while he was getting his pizza. Finally, while I don't condone it, smoking pot really doesn't affect you as much as being really hammered would.

I don't smoke the stuff but have heard it from plenty other people and been in the car with a stoned driver. If anything, they were driving slower than normal and being very cautious.

Yes it does. I don't understand how anyone can argue it doesn't. I tried driving once and promptly turned back to my driveway when I noticed my vision's framerate was running at about 7fps.

High/Stoned drivers fail sobriety tests all the time.

Smoking pot DEFINITELY affects your driving ability.

Is it the same as driving drunk? NO, not exactly, but it's still driving impaired...and the roadways are dangerous enough with everyone sober and "straight." Having a bunch of stoners on the road only makes things worse...even if they are driving slow so they can enjoy their munchies while they drive...😛

lol who told you that? Tell you what, go smoke a full bowl and try to figure out how to get into your car much less drive it lol. The people who claim to be stoned are full of shit imo. They might have taken a oney or a couple of puffs. But if they are really stoned they couldnt operate a motor vehicle any better than a drunk.

I like your frame of reference, using FPS

I've seen shows where they put people under the influence into driving simulators and their reflexes surely are impaired.

glad you didn't kill yourself or worse yet take out other people with you.

but man, stop with the cigarettes, the pot, the unhealthy living, your body just gave you a wake up call.

Yeah. You need to tell the DMV stat.

A seizure is an automatic 12 month ban from driving in most jurisdictions. You will also need to tell your insurance company, so that they can cancel your insurance - if you don't, they'll cancel your policy anyway, and potentially have you prosecuted for fraud.

I surprised your docs didn't tell you that. It would actually be negligent of them not to tell you.
