set all the connection setting back to how it was ehen i installed xp .

the acual problem is that i have a xbox and im running it in to my pc so i can run xbox live and i get a dns server problem, an if i dont have a a router in between the xbox and pc it doesnt detech any thing but that the cables are connected.

pc --->router----->xbox = dns problem
pc----->xbox = ip/dns problem.

using a crossover cable
