I am in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Hi,
You have to know that the car I am selling is 100% working and good looking,
no flaws or dents, no scratches or any kind of damage.
I have the clear title in hand.
I am located in Montana, Great Falls United States.
All documents will be provided along with the car .
I will pay the shipping fees(I have my father who will do me a favor with that...he works at the shipping company).
The price is so low because i really need money because im in serious trouble my house is being mortgage value and if
i don'tpay , my house will be sold in 7 days(no bank offer me a loan). I don't care about your sob story
The transaction will be made through a third company for the safety of both of us .
I'm a serious seller and a fair trader and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer.
Anyway, I have to let you know that I want a fast deal .
so if you are really interested in buying it, please reply .
I will look for your email, so that we can move forward with this deal!
Thank's

I thought Altimas had 2.4L inline 4 motors not V6's. I think the v6 came on the next/current generation Altimas as 3.5L V6 though. I might be wrong since I don't know much about Nissans.

Just the lack of proper English is enough to make me think it is a scam. Seriously who says Montana, Great Falls United States, instead of Great Falls, Montana?

Unless he is desperate for cash something is wrong.

Is it a salvage titled car?
The "escrow company" they choose could be in on the scam.
Bounced check, etc.

If he was desperate for cash, he would be selling it cheaper than value, but not THAT much cheaper.

What would the value of 98 used Altima be, anyways? Definetly watch out though.. Be careful not to get scammed.

Nope, you're right. The Altima only came with the 2.4L in 1998. The 3.5L V6 wasn't introduced until 2002.

This car does not exist.

1998 Altima specs here, you guys were
right, there was no V6 option for the Altima in 1998. I smell a rat, stay away...

i just watched a fifth gear..first eps of this season that was interesting. they crash tested two ford focus's, one was a repaired totalled car and other a good condition car. the cabin intrusion was much worse in the fixed total car of course. it was the difference between walking away and being a cripple. i know its sorta obvious that you can't really fix a totalled car to new but this made it clear the level of safety missing. you can't remake the crumple zones, either you make it too hard or too soft in repair. penny wise pound foolish for salvaged cars i guess.

my worry with such a deal is that it is a salvage

I have seen plenty of salvaged titles get turned into clean titles. So if this deal doesnt end up being some nigerian scam, something else will be wrong with it.
