I just started using a dual monitor setup, it's cheesy but oh well:
Geforce MX 440 (all I have atm) dual-head into a compaq 1720 as display #1, and a Viewsonic VG800 as #2.
Obviously nothing to write home about, but I just noticed while touching the top of the Viewsonic, is that it's as hot as a cpu HSF (on the top only). I'm playing a vid through itunes right now on it. Could that be the cause? And is this bad for the monitor?
