I guess no one play quake 3 demo anymore?

I still play Q3 every now and then, I never have any trouble finding servers. There are surprisingly a lot still up.

Q3A 1.27g Game Source

This is the combined source code for Quake III Arena and Quake III: Team Arena. It can be used to build the 1.27g point release or the Team Arena release. It contains buildable project files and all related game source code as well as prebuilt tool executables.

so How do i make a full game from that 2.2mb file?

I think you can build the binaries and such, but the other data (maps, textures, sounds, etc.) are still under copyright and not free. At least how it works with Duke 3D (which is now open source). You can build binaries, people have ported to OpenGL, etc, but to play it you need the data pack (from the shareware or full version).

Almost feel like reinstalling this and playing at 1920x1200. I bet it would still look very nice. 🙂
