about 3am newyears day i got a electical surge.. and now i find things not working... everything shut up and powered back up within 5 seconds.
i have my computer/ TV running off a surge protector brick thing. Most of my other items running raw out of the outlets. I found my cell phone charger, battery charger not working..i assume the surge shorted it out. i doubt there are circuit breakers for those types of things.
My question is would that surge protector really of helped my chargers? I didn't have to reset the cirucit breaker on the surge protector. Would i be able to claim warranty or blame the electrical company for this? i see the damage to be about $50 plus 3-10 days to get new ones.
which makes me wonder now do you use surge protectors for everything?
