I Graduated from UMD yesterday!!!!

Well I finally did it ... I WALKED!!!

After 5 long hard years at UMD I finally got my degree in Computer Science, and it was no easy path. I had some very hard classes and I am very glad its done. The ceremony was about 2 hours long and was very nice. It was so hot outside though in the cap and gown before/after the ceremony, but the AC was blastin in the room with the celebration.

I went out last night cause it was my best friends birthday so we got all fvcked up and what not cause of his birthday and my graduation, and were gettin free shots left and right from the bartender. Tonight is the huge party at my house though and maybe i'll post some pics of the bash after it happens 😛.

Congratulations! I graduated with a CS degree from UMD in 2002. It is a tough major, but you pulled it out 🙂

My GF graduated from UMD yesterday too. How bad was the student speaker on Thursday? 😀
 
heh thanks. i don't have a hangover today, i probably wil tomorrow 😛 I didn't get that drunk last night, didnt want to cause I had to get up early to go to the gym before I setup for my party. I got back from bally's like 30 minutes ago, so i'm gonna start settin up in a little bit.

i don't have a job lined up yet, i haven't started looking too hard yet either. my bro konws someone at bethesda softworks and they have an opening, so I am DEFINITELY going to apply there and try to get the position. that would be awesome 🙂

i really want to get into something graphical like video games or movie effects ... but time will take me where i wanna go 🙂

Heh i didn't go to the one in the comcast center on Thursday so I don't know. the student speaker yesterday at our ceremony though got 4 degrees in 4 years with 216 credits - comp sci, physics, math, and geology - :Q :Q :Q :Q. that really impressed me. it was a nice ceremony though.

but yea, the major was very very hard and im glad i pulled it out. i honestly almost dropped out of college after freshmen year, glad i didnt 🙂

no, got turned down the day before graduation from CSC, after going through like 4 interviews,,,pissed me off...

oh well, gotta keep trying
