Today I graduated high school, and when they handed me my diploma they gave me an envelope. Inside was a note saying that I had to return a textbook before I could get my diploma. There was also another smaller envelope inside, and I opened it to find a check in my name for $323! Apparently I won an award for outstanding photography, but it was a surprise to find the money. Great graduation present!

Now what should I spend it on? I feel like I should spend it on some lens' to honor the fact that I got the money because of my photos, and then there's the other side of me that just wants to blow it all on something fun. ;) Any ideas ATOT?

I'm surprised they didn't just keep the prize money to pay for the textbook.

Good for you mate! Put it towards a nice 70-200mm f/2.8 IS, would be perfect on the rugby field.

Edit - These two are excellent, keep it up! Photography is an extremely rewarding hobby.

Save it for college/future living, if you are going to such an establishment.

That reminds me, I STILL owe my grade 4 school a library book that I lost. I never managed to find it, and they probably forgot by now.

Better find and return it otherwise the librarian will come and hunt you down like in that Seinfeld episode.
