I can't have a job that's not related to video games in some way, i love video games too damn much, and i have my whole life. How can i get a good video game related job? Getting paid to play video games would be nice...anyone need a gamer? I could work full or part time...day or night :D

I'd rather not go to College though, it would take too much game time away :p - I can't model or anything like that either, so nothing with graphics. The only skills i have are gaming related...and i'm pretty good with the computer too, heh. Anyways, can someone point me in the right direction? Just thought i'd give it a shot.

yeah, without going to college all you're going to do is videogame testing, which millions of people would do so the pay would suck...

Well, college really isn't an option, not that i would go anyways :p

I can't really see anything other than being a tester, i mean, i'd like to do something bigger, but without a degree of some sorts it's quite unlikely. Anyway, i guess being a tester is something, doubt there's any places out here that need them though.

I could never work in that industry. The pay is crap and you work like a slave. Sorry but video games aren't THAT interesting. I think I'll stick to building weapons for the government.

Why is college not an option?
You wouldn't mind playing games for $10 an hour for the rest of your life?

Not to mention most video games suck. Spend the rest of your life playing deer hunter for $10 an hour.

You need to go to college, that way, you get a private office an play all day and still get paid. Half-life 2 may be an issue with company fire wall.:p

unless you're particularly skilled in one very specific area (like art, digital art), any area of video gaming will be difficult to break into without college.

Companies like Blizzard don't particularly care how educated you are per say.. but they do care about your talent level, and going to college only refines and builds that talent ability.

If you want a real job in that industry you need to go to college. However since you don't have any ambition at all as it is, you probably have a lot of growing up to do before that.

What do you want to contribute to the video game industry? You can make games, make software for games, make hardware for games and get paid. You can beta tset for games but you'll most likely never get paid for it.

Get a videogame tattoo and show up for an interview. That will really show them that you're hardcore in videogames. Bonus points if it's somewhere on your face, penis, or ass.
